The World CCJ (Cosplay Comedian Joe) Only Knows I'm really liking this series so far! Funny b/c it's a romance series (partially) and i'm not a big romance guy. It's actually a romance-comedy-parody series to be technical. And I really liked the pop idol arc (even though one person already was complaining that it was "unusually long" (actually I dunno if it was really "complaining" but...) and i'm intrigued at this Library Girl Arc that it's in right now. Keima says that he already sees how this "story" is gonna end, so I guess next Tuesday we'll see if he's right! And you know, I think that i'll just make a video explaining the rest of how I feel in a video later so if you wanna know more just wait till it comes out.

Now that we're in the Christmas season (or have been since July if you follow Lewis Black, lol) it's time to really consider what to get for that special someone. (or that person of great importance if you're not there yet in life) As for me, well, it's a hi-mi-tsu!

I was teaching my little cousins how to play the Wii, (at the insistence of my aunt and uncle) Kawaii!! They don't know how to use it but obviously I do! lol I was playing it around them earlier this year (at my family's shorehouse) and they liked what they saw so they wanted me to bring it over today while they were down for Thanksgiving weekend today. We stuck to very simple games Wii Sports (baseball and tennis) but then later we even got into Super Mario Brothers (yep that's right, the original Super Mario Bros!) and my older cousin was doing pretty well. (for his age and as a total first timer!) So yep that's right I was training practically the next generation of otaku gamers! lol And there may be a certain Christmas present for some certain cousins of mine but they told me not to say anything so please don't tell them! XD And then afterward they actually were asking me to come over so I can download and configure everything! Yep nothing like having an otaku for some good old-fashioned Nintendo family fun! ROTFLOL

Wow, what a great UFL Championship game it was! Just came down to a field goal (safety and an extra point actually) And now the Locos are 2-time UFL champions! So congratulations to them and to both teams for playing such a great game! Can't wait till August when the season starts up again. And yeah, the season starts up again in August (regular season too, not like the NFL with it's preseason) so you can look forward to that and much more next year!

There's a whole bunch that I have to be thankful for! You, my fans, the ability to be going to cons to be able to meet and see so many people, my family and my friends (and especially their support of my otakudom) and of course to able to do my standup! How's it feel now that we're all time travelers? http://www.nowpublic.com/style/2010-daylight-savings-time-dates-clocks-change-usa-and-canada-2715502.html You know, I was watching a football game out on the West coast when the changeover happened, and that was right after the Sacremento team lost the lead to Vegas in the 4th, but then, I thought I myself, "hey, I mean sure, that sucks for Sac., but it's not like they could go back and change what happened!" And then sure enough, they did by kicking a gome winning field goal! Wow, how often does THAT happen, that we actually get to redeem ourselves in the time-space continuum? LOL Yeah, and just think, up until now that realm was only reserved for Mikuru Asahina! Hey, maybe SHE could be the new spokesperson for future clock changes. lol Well, her and Makoto Konno from the Girl Who lept through time, but she'd only be for this time-switch (while her boyfriend would handle the forward time switches).
But hey, at least we're not stuck in the 50's and have to go to the school dance with our moms, right?

Claymore can make one cry? Well, I almost did (and certainly did on the inside) after seeing ep 14. Wow, what a sad ending and realization, I certainly cried on the inside, b/c that's so sad, everything that Ophelia realized (and i'll leave it there to prevent spoilers, but for those who did see the series, you know exactly what i'm talking about, and I bet some of YOU cried a bit on the inside at the end of that episode. But wow, that's what I meant by the beauty that this series really possesses! Can't wait to see how this all turns out!

...for tonight that is. And also, since i'll be going back down to Anime USA, I think that there's something I should tell you. and I SWEAR i'm not making this up! Last year, at AUSA, Steve Blum KNEW who I was, Steve frickin' Blum!!! He recognized me when he signed my Badge! It was right after Saturday's panel, there was a group of people w/ me also waiting to get theirs' signed. I can even show you the badge if you want me to! But wow, Steve Blum knowing who I am, that made my whole freakin' year for me!

I've only seen up to episode 12 so far, but wow! I know that it's really graphically violent (and at times, I was taken aback by just how graphic it really was) but other than that, it's really good and surprisingly, it's actually quite beautiful! The storyline is moving (esp. eps, 5, 6, 8 and the one that I just saw, 12 [and whoo-hoo, was REALLY not expecting that kind of stuff from Claire! ^^ sorry but I just had to indulge]) and the music is just beautiful! (I mean, even the 10-15 second "next episode" theme music is deep and mysterious, and fulfilling, and beautiful in it's own right!) Also, at first i was put off by the "not-so-anime" art style of it, but in a way, I now actually kinda like it, b/c it really gives it a much more serious attitude than it would actually have otherwise! I would really recommend this for the older otaku who can stomach all the graphic violence. I mean, put it this way, if you could handle Elfin Lied, then this anime should be too much of a problem for you either!

Well, i'm getting ready for the big game tomorrow, Las Vegas vs. Florida. It'll be on 11PM, (eastern) 8 PT on HDnet! Even if you don't have it, you can catch it on the website at: . The opening game will be at 2:30 (eastern again) but unless you get the NESN, you'll have to see it online. But the Las Vegas game will be on HDnet and i'm going out for it! (to a place that has it obviously) I'm really impressed with what a lot of what i've been seeing so far and I can't wait till tomorrow to see how it'll turn out!

...all I have to say is, wow. Amazing, I mean, this is the stuff that actors must DREAM about acting in! I mean, not just the character development, but the character complexity, and the turns in storyline are just, so, magnifique! I would HIGHLY recommend ANYONE who hasn't seen it to see it! It is really that awesome!

and MAN is this series getting good! Just when I thought I liked Haruhi, THIS series begins to give it a run for it's money! Can't wait till I see the rest of the series.
