Review of minicon part 1...

On October 16th, Game-hop Aftercon held a one-day minicon at the University of Advanced Technology in Tempe, Arizona. This is a review on some of the activities that happened at the event.

Starting at 2pm, the first panel was "How to be impulsive". The three panelists discussed the do's and don'ts on how to be impulsive while making other people laugh at the same time. The goal is to act randomly but be thoughtful in the process. If this act harms others, then you probably should not do it. Also, the panelists addressed that it is normal to feel stupid afterwards.

Review of minicon part 2 (final)

Anime viewing

Whenever I wanted to escape from the crowds, I headed over to the anime viewing room to see what was playing. There were two memorable shows that I wanted to watch more of after the con. One was Angel Beats. In the first episode it is already established that the main characters are already dead but still go to high school with normal students. These students are like lost souls trying to find purpose to their existence. What I liked about this anime was the beautiful soundtrack and the excellent visual effects.
