I love to RP :3 i go to larp every weekend Live action role play its so much fun! and i also play some dnd never got into the forum RP thing tho! hey if any of you live in seattle you should come to LARP!!!

I've never really gotten into larping. . . I tried it with my friends but one of the girls with anger problems intentionally hurt me really bad. =__=;;

The problem with LARP is the same problem some people have with acting careers: they get too into their characters. Method acting is all right if you can turn it on and off, but if you can't stop being Mercutio or Puck or Ernest, things get out of hand really quickly. Add this to an overactive imagination and, for the most part, an immature group of teenagers, and presto! You get injury and drama.

I am actually hosting a few forum- and IRC-based games. If anyone is interested, I suppose I could find a game for you.

Everyone else was fine, I think she was just taking out her locked up anger on everyone.

I used to R/p when i was first introduced to chat rooms during grade school. - now that was entertainment.

Does anyone here play MUDs? The one I imm on sadly seems to be dying, but I definitely had some good times with RP.

What's an MUD? I'm looking for a nice place to call my role-playing home, but I haven't been able to find the inspiration to post. :(

I love Rping. Its a great way to work on your writing skills. I only RP at one place and that's Quizilla Forums.

Ive been RPing for about 10 years now, I played DnD most of it, But ive pretty much played in a game atleast once a month, for 10 years haha. Ive played Gurps, Rifts, and several otehr systesm, I guess you coudl say im an avid Role player, I also manage an RP group at another forum.

Also, Ive played DnD over voice online, But die roll fudgeing can be a big problem, But if everyone has cams and dice, Show us them die rolls. :>

I have heard there is chat programs with built in rollers, but I am not very fond of Them as they use a formula which is not perfectly random liek a real dice.

And as for free style forum RP, I really enjoy it, but lately have not had the drive to do much.

You have never stopped since. RL is not existing anymore to you.

I RP too, mostly with james. Ive even hosted a few games myself. However, lately, there just has not been much drive to rp. Perhaps I am becoming more comfortable in my own lifestyle, therefor I am driven less to seek text based fantasy escapism. Bah, its too early in the morning for existential thinking

Larping? id rather play paintball, at least I can tell my fireball hit insted of pointing and yelling.

Rp over the net? tryed that. Missisipy boy rolled two ones, and a three, on a 100 sided die. (in rifts, that's pretty much flawless success)

I wont trust a dice roller unless it uses an atomic random number generator.

Getting together regularly to game can be quite inconvenient, but I believe it is the best way to go.

think of GTA. Organized crime in a big city. Cops, criminals, serial killers, but even more. And just like every other RPB out there, there is a high chance of everyone having some sort of power. Whether it be the ability to spit fire or to turn invisible, this all mixes in to a modern, fantasy world. :)

In short: GTA, the godfather, every crime drama/action movie + powers. :D

I RP all the time but mostly only with close friends via IM or text. I've done a little forum RPing in my days but found that I don't enjoy it as much as I do when it's only one-on-one with a friend.

2. A Steam Punk theme set in a fantasy world. Government overthrow and such.

3. Based on my Trilogy series of books yet to be released. The prequel. Angels and war against Technology and Magic.
